Sunday Stuff: Sept 4th - 10th 2023
I’ve decided to try a weekly roundup of things that have happened to me or caught my attention each week, beginning today:
It’s back-to-school week here and while it’s more than my life is worth to post the annual photo of my teen standing by our front door in public, Year 9 seems to be off to as good a start as possible for someone who hates school with a passion!
This has been the soundtrack to my week:
My latest obsession is the Daily Duotrigordle where you solve 32 Wordles at once! It’s not nearly as complicated as it sounds once you’ve figured out how the site works and I’ve enjoyed solving them while eating lunch.
My dreams now look like this. This week we had our boiler replaced with a nice, new, modern model which also got rid of our enormous hot water tank giving me a whole new closet to work with. I’ve spent the days since daydreaming about how to remodel the space, pinning linen closet concepts on Pinterest, and researching storage options for blankets and towels. I’m clearly getting older because last week I was even weighing up the benefits of an English Heritage membership…
Finally, I’ve been making lots of exciting bookish plans for the coming months and I can’t wait to share them all here!
